Greetings to all of you new CityProwlers! The last 6 weeks have been incredible - since the website launched July 1, hundreds of people have downloaded the Lower Prospect tour to their computers and .mp3 players, I've received some great ideas for the tours and website and best of all, I have met some wonderful Clevelanders who are committed to taking Cleveland to the next level of being an enjoyable, exciting and livable city.

The purpose of this newsletter is to update you on what CityProwl Cleveland is up to, highlight some of the local businesses & institutions found on specific tours and let you know when the latest tour will be available. You will truly be a CityProwler in the know!

Many of you are aware that CityProwl was featured as a Plain Dealer "Bright Idea" business , but did you know Jennifer was interviewed on Channel 5's "Good Morning Cleveland" show in July, too? CityProwl Cleveland's launch has been written up in several blogs & websites, including the Atlanta-based Governing.com (the article is 1/3 of the way down the page - titled "If These Streets Could Talk"). An interview on WCPN 90.3 is also in the works. Stay tuned for more information!

CityProwl Cleveland has finally added mapping capabilities to the website by using an innovative tool based on the Goggle maps. CommunityWalk.com is a website that is dedicated to providing a powerful yet simple and easy to use interface for creating informational, interactive, and engaging maps. The cool graphics and unique production sound of CityProwl Cleveland would not be possible without Len Peralta of Nobbynees Ltd, a multi-disiplinary design firm that also includes creative advertising, brand building, interactive marketing & web information design. Len instantly grasped the visual and audio concept of CityProwl Cleveland and has created a distinctive sound and look for the company.
